Vaasa Airport Park is a rapidly growing business park located in the immediate vicinity of the airport. Vaasa Airport Park is one of the three business parks in Vaasa, the others being Vaasa Science Park and Strömberg Park.

Over 50 companies with 1,800 experts especially in the fields of energy and electrical engineering already operate in Vaasa Airport Park. The biggest companies in the park areWärtsilä Finland Oy and Vacon Oyj.

The park also houses the technology building Futura I, which was completed in October 2002 and which accommodates almost 30 companies that operate in the field of high technology or supporting roles. Technology Centre Merinova has its premises in Futura I.
