Become a United Nations supplier

UN-procurements is an EU-financed project that aims to help regional companies in accessing procurements made by organizations under United Nations and at the same time function as an approved supplier of products and services for the UN.

The project scope is on companies whose products and services are suitable for the needs of the UN organizations and companies with the possibility to develop new products suitable for the procurements in question. The regional target areas are Ostrobothnia (Merinova part project) and Southern Ostrobothnia (Seamk part project).

Companies that attend this project are entered into the UN-procurements system so that when criteria are fulfilled the companies can offer products and services to the UN procurements organization.

During this project the companies are aided in the offering process, possible negative responses to offer requests and process related appendix materials preparation.

Project realization and finance

The project schedule is 1.1.2009-31.12.2011 and it is managed in Ostrobothnia by Merinova Oy. The manager in Southern Ostrobothnia is the School of Technology in cooperation with the Business School in Seinäjoki University of applied sciences.

The main finacer of the project is the European Regional Development fund (ERDF).
