Bothnia Green Energy

The Bothnia Green Energy project started at the beginning of the year (2023) and is partially funded by the European Union Interreg Aurora, which is a brand-new programme in the European Interreg community for cross-border cooperation 2021-2027.

The partner companies Herrfors, Kokkolan Energia, Skellefteå Kraft, Umeå Energi, Vaasan Sähkö, and Övik Energi are collaborating within the project to develop sustainable energy solutions and invest in new, innovative products.

Project Partners are Jakobstad Region Development Company Concordia, Kokkola Region Development Company KOSEK, The Kvarken Council EGTC, Technology Centre Merinova, Skellefteå Science City, Umeå Municipality, Vaasa Region Development Company VASEK and Övik Energi.
