The project supports the internationalisation of such European small and medium-sized enterprises aimed at markets with high potential outside of the European Union. Such markets include Mexico, Brazil, Chile, USA, and North Africa.
In March 2016, the EU Commission gave Reina Plus the project status “European Cluster Strategic Partnership Going International (ESCP-4I)”. The project is led by Basque Energy Cluster CEPV, and the energy cluster from Vaasa (Merinova), Portugal (EnergyIn) and Austria (Oekoenergie) are involved.
