ALBATTS – Alliance for Batteries Technology, Training and Skills

The Alliance for Batteries Technology, Training and Skills (ALBATTS) is a European project with a total budget of 4 million EUR. It is funded by the Erasmus+ Sector Skills Alliances Programme.

The objective of the project is to contribute to the electrification of transport and green energy in Europe by designing a blueprint for competences and training schemes of the future, in the battery and electromobility sector. Additionally, making Europe a competitive player in the battery ecosystem is a significant driver.

ALBATTS focuses on identifying and developing relevant competences and skills to empower European industry with a high-skilled workforce and expertise in batteries development and production.

The 4-year project is striving to form a consortium around Europe to enable the availability of a skilled workforce through Vocational Education Training and Universities.
