The project, funded by the Regional Council of Ostrobothnia (ERDF), aims to further develop the GigaVaasa battery industry area into a sustainable and smart industrial environment. GigaVaasa refers to an industrial park area of over 350 hectares dedicated to the battery industry, designed to provide a sustainably developed industrial environment for battery chemistry. The goal is to attract battery sector players committed to sustainability. In addition to sustainability, the industrial park aims to ensure the long-term competitiveness of companies through its infrastructure.
