Marko Kuokkanen has been appointed as the new CEO of Merinova. He will assume his position on May 1, 2025.

“Marko’s extensive experience in the energy sector and his deep understanding of the development of the Vaasa energy cluster, including his role as Head of Sales and Marketing for the GigaVaasa project, make him an excellent choice for Merinova’s CEO. His work has focused on attracting companies to join the GigaVaasa concept and on infrastructure development, which will support him in taking Merinova forward. His leadership is expected to bring new ideas and strengthen Merinova’s role as a development company within the Vaasa energy cluster,” states Hans-Alexander Öst, the Chairman of the Board of Merinova.
